90 degrees to reality
I've always spent a lot of time in my own head (some might say to much time!), thinking up little adventures and stories. And since I turned 10 or 11 I've wanted to be an author. Well you could say that I am now since a some of my work has bee published on the web. Here you can find the (few) stories I've finished and the back ground to them as well as the (many) ideas that didn't make it.
Join me and try thinking at 90 degrees to reality.
The lightpath gallery
I've been interested in computer generated imagery ever since I saw the film Tron, way back in eighties (sometime). When I got my first 'real' computer (an Atari ST), I realised that I could now generate these sorts of images. Since the mid 90's I've been using POV ray on and off (mostly off!) to generate my own computer generated images.
Take a short browse through my works in the lightpath gallery.
The digital ant hill
I've playing around with digital ants and cellular automata for a number of years now, partly as a way of flexing my programing muscles but also because I find the patterns generated and the way they come in be being fascinating. No idea what I'm talking about? Thought so.
Come with me in the to the digital anthill to find out more.
Code and coding
I'm a coder. I worked for a while as professional programer and I still play with code at home form time to time. So heres a few pages on this one of my favorite subjects.
While away some time inspecting my code and coding.
Miscellany
As the name implies this is the section for every thing that didn't fit anywhere else. Everything from speculations about intelligent life out there in the universe to collections of sci-fi humour.
Why not waste some time looking through marks miscellany.
