Yesterday I finally hit the the much talked about week 2 woes. I'd got to an action sequence and I was really struggling. This is odd since normally, I find action stuff easy to write and dialogue (which I think as been working well in this story) hard to do. I played around with some text rather listlessly in the morning and then in the afternoon discovered a new podcast (the very strange, but funny tiki bar). Watching the whole back catalogue for this took up most of the afternoon. My plans for doing huge numbers of words yesterday, where now in tatters.
A late evening/night session did however rescue the word count and taking off the 500 words I did Friday night, but didn't post, I actually managed a respectable 2500 odd words.
The problem is that it's now getting harder all the time, the main reason I'm doing this post is to avoid doing the next scene.
Oh well that's this post done, time to get back to the grindstone!
