Question: Why would any one demonstrate against elections?
Answer: Because they fear that people will not chose their way. In this case the protest was in the Iraq and apparently not even by Iraqi nationals. Despite the fact I think we when to war for the wrong reasons, I can now see that the freedom to select their own destiny is very much a worth while result for the Iraqi people. Yes cost has been high and I'm sorry to say will stay high, both for Iraq and the foreign troops which will have to be stationed there for a long time to come, but end result will be worth it.
I know I don't normally 'do' political stuff here, but I do feel that today, I can make an exception, since this day could well go down in history.
