The missing day

What happened to day 3 and world reals at the first
unexpected death in the story.
Phew I've made it to day 4. I did you may notice skip
yesterday (a Friday). While I didn't post anything I
did do a tiny bit of work, but not much, only 245
words. It had been a very long day, I was tired and
was coming down with a cold.
I've tired to make up for it today however. The cold witch I thought I was coming down with doesn't seem to have come to much so I've had a good crack at the story. The results 3419 words, just over two days worth!
Things are going great at the moment, no more characters have appeared, one has died, although not one I'd intended and not quite the way I'd planed. I'd got to attached to the one I had planed to kill, so changed things. Also in the heat of writing I've changed a few major plot elements around and...
Why I'm a telling you these things since the ideas have ever only existed in my head. Well I guess to show that I've changed my mind about writing down ideas and way it freezes them and stops them from growing. It seems that the writing down actually forces you to think about the ideas in detail and how they relate to others, which means some times they have to change. This is a good thing (I think).
Any way I'll leave you to think on that, while I settle down to a good movie on DVD. It will have to be a loud one, since it currently sounds like a bad day in Baghdad outside my flat (for those of you not in the UK November th 5 is Guy Fawkes night and the Saturday before that is almost always at least as loud!)
