Not much going on here in hyperlands of late.
The reason is I've been stuck in a bit of a melase for the last week of so. Since I had my toes done in fact.
My toes? Yes I had pretty bad in growing toe nails up until this time last week when I had surgery on them. My toes while not looking much better now feel so much better, however since then it's been a bit dry on the idea's, writing and in fact everything front for me.
I've stopped work on my latest story (the monastery), I've stopped bloging, I've even stopped putting down ideas for blog posts. It's all very depressing. Maybe it's my age, I've just had a birthday, which puts me all to close to being middle aged! Maybe not however, I think I've been middle aged since I was about 20! Maybe it's just one of those things I need to work through.
I'm hoping it's the later, because if I want to start to make a living out of this writing business in 5 years time (thats still the plan), I've got to get working at it.
I need to recapture the energy I had in last years NaNoWriMo (and no I haven't started the rewrite on that either), and to do that I need some kind of target, I don't work well with out targets, but what sort of target to have?
Maybe some sort of story blog? I did plan to do this a year or so back, but nothing came of it. Maybe just more blog posts to get me back in to the swing of things.
I've just got to do something....Oh look I have done something. A new blog post!
