Mmm, it seems strange sitting here tonight with nothing to do. Somehow doesn't seem right just sitting here doing nothing. That's what I used to do pre-Novemeber!
I'm allowing my self one night off, before lunching in to some new projects tomorrow, the first of which is the continuing re-working of my main site hyperlands (hey I've done it :}). I've got some other stories in mind to, but I think it will be a little while before I return to the world of fiction.
But what a month. I've probably enjoyed this month more than any since...well the last time I was (very) briefly going out with a girl friend! Yes I think writing really is that much fun, Terry Parcthet once said 'writing is the best fun you can have on your own' I agree!
So my story is now finished and the final word count is 51591 words. This means that the five of us bristolains doing sci-fi stories have clocked up a grand total of 151101 words. Way hey!
The story is fully up on the site now and also available for download in PDF format, and I expect this to my one of my last posts here. As I mentioned earlier in the month, this site will stay here till the renewal time comes around (1 year 11 months time) and then any still useful content will get moved to hyperlands.
I may well use the site again when I come to rewrite and edit the story, which I'm planing to do some time around about March next year, so look out for that. In mean time there are still at lest two more posts so do leave me just yet!
