...And I'm in my final preparations for the next 30 days of blood (I hope there's not to much of that) sweat and tears. Okay I'm getting overly dramatic again, but I think these next 30 days are going to be hard.
Anyway now is the time to revile something about the story I plan to write. It's going to be set (mostly) in a inter-dimensional conduit called the route (now the name of this site beings to have some meaning!) This is of course a side ways reference to the Way in Greg Bears terrestrial hexamon books, Eon, Eternity and Legacy. This will be the first of I hope many pop culture and sci-fi references in the story. I wonder if you'll catch them all?
Anyway the Route will be the setting for serval stories which start off separately but in the end come to a common end.
The Route has many names on many different worlds, and yes there is one on the Earth. To give you a flavor of what is to come here are some of the sites along the way that the stories will be set in.

The plain of stones
The borderlands inn
Gateway station

Etc. etc. Well I hope thats wetted your appetite. Currently there are 35 minutes to go before I could start, but I don't think I will. Bed beckons me with it's siren call and...
