No struggling so much now

I think I've made the break thought last night.
Well having posted that downbeat post last
night, I then go a make a major break through in
the script.
The problem was that I'd got the opening of the script sorted out pretty much, and I know roughly where I wanted it to end up, but the bit in between was giving problems. The dialogue was very pedestrian, and really just filling space. I wasn't happy with it and it was getting in the way of more progress, so I took the scissors to it and deleted a whole scene. So my word count went backwards, again!
But I replaced the old tired, boring dialogue with some thing a bit different. I brought an old lover back from the dead for my hero and then had her reveal the fact that she had been spying on the hero for the villain of the story. Lots of room for high emotions, tears, shouting and in the end loving for the characters there!
With the idea fixed in my head. I put a Meat Loaf CD in player, turned the volume up to 11 and hit the keyboard.
An hour, and 800 words later and the scene was done. I've cleared out some of the pedestrian dialogue, given the hero something more to fight against and generally worked past my sticking point!
20000 words here I come!
