More software stuff

i've been buy software again...
Yes okay, I admit it. I when and splashed out more
money on more software (I’m just pain bad).
As I suspected I did go for Scrivener in the end. It’s just got so much more twiddlely bits on it than Ulysses! Now from a productivity point of view I’m not sure that’s a good thing, but I think it is very cool. I can still see Ulysses staying on my hardrive, just because of the ability to output in lots of different formats, with lots of different options. Without a dbout the coolest, but probably less useful is LaTex.
I’ve have discovered a way to make the full screen mode properly full screen and actually hide the desktop fully (well on one screen anyway). And I’ve started my next, smallish writing project on it.
So that’s one new bit of software, the other new bit is this...Okay that’s not very useful to you is it? I’ve splashed out some cash on MacJournal, which is what I now use to do new blogs. But you use Rapidwaver to create you web site, I hear you say. True, I do indeed and will keep on doing that, but my new plan is to put very thing idea, I have or thing I might blog about in MacJournal as soon as I see it/think about it and then the items that I still think are important a day or so down the line I’ll publish, by good old copy and paste.
The idea behind this is to write as much as possible, so I can ‘practice the craft’ of writing and also gather ideas and stuff all in one place. Also I get to play with another new application, which is always fun and I suspect the main reason I purchased it.
Oh hum. So much for cutting back!
