Getting things done, an update

Okay, I still trying, but not really getting any more done.
It's been a while since I last updated you on my progress at becoming super ogranised and productive. Well okay may be not super, but more than I am now.
And guess what, it's not going quite so well. I've been playing with Taskpaper, more and more now (at home at least), despite the fact it is only version 0.3 and it crashed an awful lot! This isn't a criticism by the way, it was made very clear very time you loaded it that it was still in beta. You may however notice that I said it crashed a lot, past tense. This evening I downloaded version 0.4, I must have been about the first to get it, the blog entry announcing this was 1 minute old when I downloaded!
Anyway this version is much more stable, it's not crashed once so far and I have tried!
So I've finally settled on Taskpaper, oh no. I still use Mori at work as a sort of to do list/reference library and note keeper and at home Journler is still used a little for to do's.
And then there is Process, this is a sort of outliner on steroids, aimed at managing projects. I do like outliners, well at least one outliner in particular, OmniOutliner. I've used it as long as I've been using macs and it's been used for just about everything, stories, to do lists even financial planning and I've loved it. It doesn't get used so much now days as I've tended to get other apps to do most of the jobs I used to do it. But I've still got the pro edition sitting on my dock, which means it's used at lest semi regularly.
So process is trying to take OmniOutliners crown as the supreme outliner on the mac it would appear. Well it looks very good, but it's going to have a fight on it's hands, OmniOutliner is very good to. OmniOutliner is the simpler interface of the two and is probably not quite so powerful. But the simpler interface is always a good thing for me (less to fiddle with!)
The main area where Process, I think scores is that you have a separate view for just the projects, so you can limit your self to looking at just one project and you can have smart projects, which are basically save searches.
Looks good, but do I really need to have another bit of software (I think you know that answer to that one!)
