Oh come on people, this is important!

My thoughts on the political wrangling over the
location of the iter (international thermonuclear
experimental reactor) project.
This article on the BBC
news website, really made my blood boil. We and by
we I mean the Europe are trying to bully the half
of this international group in to building the
reactor in France. We have the support of both
China and Russia for this choice. However Japan
has the support of the other two countries US and
South Korea to build it on Japanese soil. A
classic deadlock situation.
The way round these sorts of the situations is negations which have been going on for a year now. This is not good. We and now I mean mankind as a whole, need to find another source of power and fusion is the way to go. Now something has to be done to break the deadlock, but is threatening to go it alone the right way?
I don't think so. This is to important to the future to do. Fusion power is going very difficult to achieve, even with the combined resources of the six nations, if we have two separate teams it might not be possible. If we fail after going it alone, that would, I'm sure bring us back in to the fold, but how much time and money would that have wasted!
So come on people, this is for the future of all us, sit down and get things sorted!
