The Escape Pod flash fiction contest is over...for me at least.
I didn't get through to the semi finals, which is no great surprise to me. Although I'd had the idea washing around in my head for a long time, the actual writing of the story took about 5 minutes and that shows.
I did get a more comments than any one else in the my group, but they where mostly about the spelling and grammar which where way off. I made the mistake of just running the thing through the spell checker and then not leaving it a day and proof reading it. Also I relay should have got some one else to proof read it.
So I will be proof reading all three of those flash stories and editing them.
Besides the comments about the spelling and grammar, there where some comments that the idea was sound, which is nice.
So I need to work, work and work on this writing stuff!
