Discovery channel blunders

As you probably know or have guessed I'm a Geek. And
as Geek I am of course interested in science and
technology of all kinds. Therefore a lot of the TV I
watch comes from the Discovery Channel.
Today, as on most days I watched Discovery channel
while I ate dinner. At six o'clock they have a couple
of programs with names something long the lines of
how it's made/done, how it works etc. The names and
content are all so similar I have problems
remembering which one is which!
Anyway today they had a new program which covered how some very large projects (the new Large Hadron Collider at CERN and the ITER project) where build, run etc. Interesting I thought, so I recorded it. Just as well I did, because half way through the program while they where talking about the ALMA radio telescope array.
Talking about this the narrator tells us the this project is being run by a European inter-govermetal astrology organisation. A what!
This is one of my pet hates, AstroLOGY and AstroNOMY are two totally different things, one is a religion or belief while the other is a science (and if you aren't sure which is which, the former is the religion). I can't see how anyone can get the to mixed up, least of all a program on what apparently is a science channel! The only similarity between them is the first five letters.
I sincerely hope that the mistake was made here by the narrator when he read the script, rather than by the script writer. If the writer really did write astrology, then Discovery has real problems. Sadly I suspect it was the writer made the mistake as later in the same program we had a line talking about 'optical light'.
Mmm, I'm not sure there is any non-optical light!
Oh dear. Anyway, the next program (How do they do it?) did slightly redeem the channels slightly tarnished image with a great piece on the making of the humble Biro pen. For something that is produced in such numbers and so cheaply there is a suspiring amount of precision engineering involved in it's manufacture.
Good one, but please, please make sure all of the programing is up to the same high quality!
