Another new plan

I've changed my mind again!
I'm not the worlds most decisive man and on the plan
of my story blog, I've changed my mind once more.
The original plan was to get it started around March and that plan still holds, but I've changed my mind about what the story is going to be. At first it started out as being the story I worked on way back which has the working title Dawns end. This title came from the fact that is was about the end of a world called Dawn. It was basically a love story, with the sci-fi elements coming from the fact that a totally alien race was destroying Dawn for reasons unknown.
This needed lots of work to bring the hand written notes up to a more readable form and I also wanted to get all of the notes I'd made on to my computer just so I had the whole history of the idea. This was about 100 pages of very badly written notes. My hand writing is very poor and I hate coping typing stuff in to my computer. So this just didn't get done.
So I looked for an idea from my many unfinished stories that I could use for the story blog. I settled on one which was much smaller in size a scope and which was conveniently already dived in to chapters. This story was a very mysterious set in an isolated country house (I love that sort of setting), almost a ghost story. The whole thing was much like (and in fact inspired by) a story from the very strange, but very good eighties sci-fi TV series Sapphire and Steel. Therein lay the problem, it was just to much like the story. Also I didn't really feel that I could create the air of mystery I wanted to achieve. That idea was thrown out.
So finally (I think) I've settled on a much more recent idea of mine this is an epic story spanning many years and with no central character or characters, but a large cast of small characters that come and go though out the story. The whole thing centers around a large and very strange alien artifact found orbiting a distant star. This being a newer story I hope is a better quality story. The down side of the newness is that I don't have much material on it yet, so the new episode every 2 weeks target is very unlikely to be met!
