It’s very nearly that time of year again (again, this the first year I’ve seriously tried this(last year was a non-starter, so doesn't count)). So how go things, well not to bad actually, I was beginning to worry a bit about getting this done, but then I (finally) got my delivery from amazon today. And what was in the package which has so motivated me?
A book by my NanoWriMo him self Chris Baty. The book is the official guide to NanoWriMo, No plot, no problem. I’ve only read the first few pages, but I feel almost ready to start!
I do have a vague plot in mind, so thats got to be a good start (it is however getting a good ending which is the problem!) No I’ve not written a word yet, I’m not going to start that until next Wednesday, but I’ve lots of crazy ideas running around in my head right now. And thats the best place for them, I think. Thats their natural environment, in my head the ideas can live and breed (what a strange mental picture that is!) and evolve. All of which means that when they do get committed to a more tangible medium like the screen of my laptop, they should be better ideas for it. Well thats the plan anyway, only time will tell if it works out that way.
Any way since I’ve got time and lots of web space I through I would show you my writing hole. It’s from this darkened corner that my diabolical plans for world domination are hatched and launched. Bawww-ha-ha-ha-haaaaa....

Yes thats it the heart of my world. Complete with the day old cup of tea (assam of course), the pile of unpaid bills (I’ll do them tomorrow!) The laptop, the PC under the table which doesn’t get a look in now I’m a Mac man! The box of chocolates (almost gone now, from the chocolate tasting club), the fire extinguisher, just in case my ideas get to hot to handle...
Yes this where it all happens, or at least where it will happen come November.
