A sexist entry?

A long rambling and possibly sexiest entry about
beauty, news readers and the difference between the
French and the British.
Okay, this is probably going to be seen as a very
sexist entry by any female readers of this site, if I
have any, readers that is not just female ones! For
that I do apologise, but I'm a man and us men are
renowned for thinking with...well our reproductive
organs.
Any way on to the post, a few days ago a stumbled across a story on digg titled something like, 'the worlds most beautiful news reader' so being a man I followed the link. At the other end of the link (do links have ends even?) I found this
And yes I would agree that Melissa Theuriau is with out doubt the worlds best looking news readers and probably one of the best looking ladies I've ever seen. By the way this video is just as good with no picture, the music is great and her voice is very...soothing.
So where I'm I going with this? Well I haven't quite got to my point yet, but bear with me.
Some of the comments that where posted with this video, where interesting too. Yes there's the normal sort of comments that would expect for a video of such fanatic looking lady posted on the internet. But one made me ask a question and and another really made me think.
Firstly the question one. Some one asked 'is she married'. I wondered why we ask that sort of question (yes I admit it, that would be the sort of thing I might think). Dose that have any bearing on any thing at all to that poster? No. Even if she whernt married I guess the chances of that particular poster ever having any sort of relationship with her are slightly less than the chances of me be crowned the next queen!
Okay now on to the second post and my main point. The second poster post said
"now imagine her going to the bathroom. or farting. Get some perspective there are plenty of beautiful women. Don't worship her. She is merely attractive. True beauty is on the inside".
Very true words indeed. This made me think about the way I've used the beautiful in the past. I've have used to purely to describe the physical looks of a lady, which is part of the dictionary definition of the word. However I think it should also refer to that inner stuff, the things you just can tell b looking. So from now on I'm trying not to use the word beautiful just to describe looks, I can use the word attractive for that. A side effect of this is that I don't know of any beautiful ladies in the world, simply because I don't know any ladies out side of my own family that well.
Okay that's my point, I've made it now. If any one is still reading this far down and is still awake, congratulations!
One finally point (maybe two), if you've read my other pages you'll see that here in the UK we also have a fantastic looking news reader in Fiona Bruce. My real final point is that the UK news readers maybe don't come across so attractively because they are much less 'involved' with the stories they read compared with there french counter parts. Typical British reserve (stiff upper lip and all that) compared with more emotional French approach? Probably.
Okay I'm done now you can wake up!
